Numark Artist, Turntablist, Portablist, entrepreneur and hip hop enthusiast, Dj Samy turned on his first turntable in 2001 in France. He spent years playing as a resident DJ and performed alongside several artists such as Fatman Scoop, 50 Cent, DJ Whoo Kid, The Pharcyde, DJ Cut Killer & many more… He held multiple residencies in France and performed in several festivals in Europe.

His mix hits the radio in 2011 with the Fresh Clubbing Radio Show. A weekly Mix show broadcasted in radios in France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany and Morocco. He launched in 2015 the #Scratcheverywhere project: « Spreading the portablism culture worldwide ». Today DJ SAMY is the ambassador of the portablism culture in France with more than 20 videos shot in cities such as Paris, Marseille, Saint-Tropez, Casablanca, London, Madrid, Berlin and many more. In 2016 he collaborated with Numark and made the first video of the new PT01 Scratch Portable Turntable in Europe before its worldwide release.

Early 2017 he joined the official Numark artists team alongside artists such as T-Pain, DJ Premier, DJ Yella (N.W.A) and many more. In 2018, DJ Samy did the first Portablist Showcase in the history of the DMC World DJ Championships which took place in London (UK) in October (Watch the video here). He also launched the « Portablism Showcase Nights », a new Scratcheverywhere Worldwide event in partnership with Numark (Click here to learn more).
